I have a couple of projects on the needles right now: a hand towel from Mason Dixon and a pair of socks that only seem to get attention when I travel. Neither one of these projects was anything I wanted to work on yesterday. I was in the mood to knit for the babies. So out came the pink and blue yarn, my binder of patterns and my favorite needles. Some things just never get old. I love to knit tiny hats.
Pattern: So-Soft Preemie Hat

This is the first time I've used this pattern, but it won't be the last. If you check, you'll see I've already added it to my favorites list. The design is simple, but elegant. Perfectly sweet for a wee one.
I'm adding that pattern to my collection! I was looking at my baby yarn recently and decided it was time to knit up another batch of hats.
ReplyDeleteSuch darling hats! That is a perfect pattern.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great pattern! And I happen to have three balls of Dreambaby in my stash right now; I'll have to knit some of those up when I need a break from the never ending sleeves.
ReplyDeleteThe pair are really cute. Now you need a soft green, lavender and a butter cream yellow. I haven't done any Preemie knitting lately but as soon as the weather gets hotter here, it will be small things like little hats and socks for me. I love the little quickie projects!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this little hat. I just finished a couple of the burial gowns. I feel like making some hats and booties. Looks like a great little pattern.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting a picture! The hats are precious--I think I'll have to make a few today. Thanks again for sharing your incredible work!

Wow! I have this pattern bookmarked for "someday"on my computer, but your photo is so much prettier than the photo on the Lion site I might do one of these this weekend instead of "someday!"
ReplyDeleteLOVE those hats!!!
ReplyDeleteCute hats! And golly. . . . I just happen to have that yarn! I'll add a pair of "go boots" and they shall be decked out in style.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing these little people items...they make me smile :-)
ReplyDeleteThose hats are SO cute!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hats! Some mamas will be very grateful!
ReplyDeleteThose hats are aborable. Hard to picture a baby little enough to wear such hats.
