I was the shopper and John was the photographer. I didn't pass up the Brooks Farm Yarn booth. How could I? Look at all the sock yarn!
I finally got to meet Amy and Laurie in person. They were taking a yarn dyeing class which I crashed to say hello.

Kid 'n Ewe wasn't the only thing we did while we were in the Texas Hill Country, but that's another post.
Nice pictures. Makes me want to have been there. I need to enhance my sock stash! I hope you bought lots of sock yarn.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my 'Saartje Bootees' and 'Rosebud Hat.' Well, I missed the Kid 'n Ewe....hopefully next year I'll be able to attend.
ReplyDeleteWell, everybody raves about Brooks Farm on their blogs and I think I can see why -it looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe fiber fest looks like great fun.
My mom & dad visited the Texas Hill Country a few years ago, they really enjoyed their trip there.
Very cool. I couldn't pass up Brooks Farm when they were at Rhinebeck. It was my biggest purchase. Need to cast on that Clapotis.
ReplyDeleteThis needs to be on my radar next year. John did an admirable job!
ReplyDeleteLaurie and I enjoyed finally getting to meet you, Tracy. We had so much fun at the festival!! I just loved all of the yarn and the beautiful spinning wheels. Maybe one of these days, I'll dabble in spinning. Loved your pictures and being featured in my favorite knitting blog (yours, of course!)!!
ReplyDeleteAmy
