Thank you for posting this! I'm going to make myself one. I like something around my neck when we walk and this would be perfect. Off to find some non itching wool.
This Christmas was the Christmas of the scarf for me, almost everybody got one. But my son didn't, as he told me "scarves don't work if you're riding a bicycle," which he does almost everywhere. So I had put a balaclava on my knitting list for next Christmas but then I was feeling like a Bad Mother for not giving him something warm right now when it's minus a bajillion degrees. And then there's this, and I can't wait until next year, I have to make this for him now. It looks so warm! Thanks!
Looks great. I couldn't figure out how to leave a comment on One Snap. Love the picture of the picnic tables and all the memories. It is amazing how time flies. Sigh.
I'm glad you like my little tutorial/pattern! Yours looks so much more awesome than mine! (I was like Wait, where did all these blog hits come from?! Glad to see it was a happy referral!)

ReplyDeleteThat looks great and nice and cozy! I have a brioche stitch one on my to do list, but in our weather the full face mask was needed first!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thick and snuggly and looks like it'll really block the wind! He looks like he should be the model for the Gorton's Fish Sticks box. hehe
