Clouds are our mountains here in the flatlands. When they are low on the horizon, I imagine a snow covered mountain range in the distance.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Clouds are amazing to watch. Your description of them as mountains in the flatlands is very apt. Your pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the one of the "mountains."
ps. don't forget to email me your address so I can send you the pattern you won. : )
I love your idea of pretending that the clouds in the distance are actually mountains.
ReplyDeleteTracy this is just beautiful. And such a perfect verse to go with. It makes me want to steal your C! hehe XOXOXOOX
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love clouds too :o)
Your pictures are lovely. I love clouds, too, and can easily spend an afternoon enjoying them. I love the English painters Turner and Constable for their paintings that feature clouds.
ReplyDeleteI so look forward to your beautiful pics. Seeing God's beauty in nature and the skies always prompts feelings of praise in me. What a magnificent God we serve! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I frequently see cloud "mountains" on the horizon. They always make Hubby long for Colorado, where he lived for many years.
Beautiful photos, WOW!
ReplyDeleteP.S. See you there ;o)
AMEN
ReplyDeleteI love a good sunset!
Awesome pictures! I just love them! The scripture you chose is perfect! Have a fantastic week-end!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures again and the perfect verse to go with them.
ReplyDeleteI like clouds too. While I don't generally care for gray weather like you mentioned, I remember once being in my nephew's backyard and watching a storm roll in. The clouds looked like black waves on an ocean and I have always regretted that I did not have a camera with me.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and inspiring. Thanks for sharing the scenery.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and I LOVe the verse with it!
