V is for Variegated

Variegated yarn is fun to knit with. I guess that's why I fall for it so often, even though I find it challenging to match the yarn to a pattern. Here's a sneak peek of my latest variegated project.

Variegated Yarn by **Plain & Fancy Sheep & Wool

This yarn is especially beautiful and wonderful to knit with! The ever-shifting colors kept my needles flying and before I knew it, this project was finished. Yes, finished before I even had a chance to mention I was working on it. You can probably guess what it is from the picture, but I'm going to save the details until after the photo shoot this weekend.

**Plain and Fancy will be one of the vendors this weekend at Kid 'N Ewe fiber festival in Boerne, Texas.

  7. Sorry for the confusion. I'm not going to the fiber festival this weekend, though if I were I'd certainly buy more Plain & Fancy.

  8. I love variegated yarn, too, but not when it decides to pool.

Your project looks intriguing. I can't wait to see it finished.

  12. I'm not, apparently, very good at guessing, since I have no clue what this project is. I do, however, love the little eyelet row in the midst of the stockinette. Have a nice weekend.

  13. Wonderful shades of variegation happening in that yarn, Tracy! Love the color way, and can't wait to see your finished piece! I like variegated yarn too, but it is hard to pair the right colorful yarn with the right project. Pity you're not going to the fiber festival :o( We were hoping for your knitter's eye view from there! ;o) Happy weekend ((HUGS))

  18. hmmm - hard to guess what it is... but my thought (since it went so quickly) is a cowl.

I love varigated yarns for the same reason, It's so fun to watch the colors emerge and blend.
