Look who's wearing new socks.
This is lifetime pair number 25.
Pattern: Primavera Socks
Yarn: Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Merino
Color: Moody Blues
Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm)
Modifications: Short-row heels and toes
Notes: A nice stitch pattern that knitted up quickly once I got the hang of the sixth round.
I finished this pair in 10 days (a record for me), but many of you could do better than that. I'm not the fastest knitter around, but I'm persistent. And, I now have a drawer full of socks to prove it.
I'm knitting a pair of these socks right now. Yours are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThey look like the ocean-beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to the Primavera sock pattern. It's a great pattern, and I agree with renna that the color you chose is perfect.
ReplyDeleteOK, this is getting ridiculous. That was me again up above. I always forget that Russ has an account when I use the "family" computer
ReplyDeleteNice pattern. Looks like a pattern that I would do. I need to count my socks. I have no idea how many pairs I have done. I think it's about 10 but not sure. I think that doing a pair in 10 day is pretty fast!!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't a drawer full of socks just make your morning? Now it's time for bare toe...my (second) favorite time of year (second only to sock wearing weather);-)
ReplyDeleteGreat photo shoot! And nice socks. It looks like a fun time was had.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, as always. I love your sweet cupcake, too. Wonderful and happy all around. You always have good scenery, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I think 10 days is fast for a pair of socks! Mine take about 2 weeks.
ReplyDeleteTen days - yes, that's pretty speedy sock knitting. I'm usually distracted by SOMETHING before the pair is finished.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is great in that color!
Beautiful! And...fast...I take months :-)
ReplyDeleteso pretty.
ReplyDeletethanks for the link to this pattern - I am almost to the heel on my first one :-)
Another beautiful pair of lovley blues for you feet. Yah!
ReplyDeleteTen days - that sounds like a pretty good pace! They turned out so nicely and of course, what a perfect setting you have there to photograph them!
ReplyDeleteThese socks may move me to pick up the sock needles again. They are beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have found knitting isn't about the speed you knit at but the joy it gives.
Lovely blue - very nice pattern! I downloaded a copy so maybe I'll try it soon!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! It's hard for me to imagine that you have only been knitting for five years. Your knitting is always so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI just love these socks. The photo is serene and filled with fresh air (I can almost smell the salt water in the air). Congrats on lifetime pair #25
