She was right. It fits my apple-sized ball of yarn perfectly and will keep it intact in my backpack, no matter how full it gets.

I love this little cozy - I haven't attempted double-pointed needles - are they difficult to master?? They seem very intimidating to a novice like me but I am willing to give anything a try at least once!! Hope you have a wonderful trip.
