Christmas Comes Early

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
It's not even December, but I've already opened my Christmas present from my husband. It's just what I wanted! Of course I had to test it out right away, so I made this little flannel bear for The Preemie Project. What a wonderful machine. So quiet and smooth. A big change from my old clackety one. I really wondered if the old one was going to make it through that last round of blanket making. Now I'm all set. Thanks, John and Merry Christmas to you too.

Well, how cool! I'm afraid that one of those machines in my house would be as useless as a snowblower in Hawaii! I'm all thumbs when it comes to sewing. Congratulations on getting a new one!

  4. What a great gift! I'm hoping to get a new one in the next year. But I'm not holding my breath on my husband getting the hint. Isn't the first anniversary the sewing machine anniversary or something?

What a wonderful early X-Mas gift! Oh I'm SOOOOO Jealous. My mom and I often wonder if ours will continue to work for much longer. We've been going to the sewing store and salivating over the embroidery sewing machines. Someday!

Hope you're having fun with it! What a wonderful hubby you have!
