Nature Photography

John's green socks are finished, yarn has been spun and plied and there is new fiber in the house. As soon as the sun cooperates, there will pictures. Until then, I'll share some shots taken at Brazos Bend State Park last month.

Congratulations on the plying! Can't wait to see what you make with your first plied yarn.

The photos are great and bring back good memories. For years my in-laws had a vacation home on the Blanco river. The turtles remind me of the lazy days during school breaks, floating down the river and watching the turtles.

  4. You took the photos! They should be on display at the park! How did the plying go? It took a couple of tries before I got it down.

  5. Those turtles are HUGE. There are turtles on the lake in Minnesota where my aunt and uncle live, but the Minnesota turtle are tini-tiny in comparison!

  6. Mmmm. It's nice to see some nature that is not completely covered in snow, like it is here.

Very nice pictures, I am going to have to show LD the turtles, she loves them.
