I was able to spend a couple of hours knitting on the shawl yesterday. It now measures about 22" in length, the width is anybody's guess. I still have a little yarn left in the first ball, but I'll be pulling out the swift and the wool winder for the second hank soon.

  4. Your shawl is so lovely! I like that it looks simple, and, okay, this sounds weird for a piece of clothing, but it also looks really calm. Beautiful!

That is really pretty. I'm glad that you're still working on it. Sometimes you just need to make something for yourself. It's going to look so fabulous on you! You won't even have to come up to colder weather to wear it. Although I wouldn't mind it if you did. A couple of the local PP girls and I got together last night just to knit. We all wished you lived here!

  6. Your shawl is so beautiful. You are really going to enjoy it once it's done. You have been so busy since I have been gone! I'll have to catch up on your posts.
