C is for Cloud

I enjoy clouds. Not the kind that block out the sunlight and make the day gray, but the ones that decorate a blue sky on a sunny day.

Clouds are our mountains here in the flatlands. When they are low on the horizon, I imagine a snow covered mountain range in the distance.

Clouds at sunset are pure drama.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

  6. Your pictures are lovely. I love clouds, too, and can easily spend an afternoon enjoying them. I love the English painters Turner and Constable for their paintings that feature clouds.

  7. I so look forward to your beautiful pics. Seeing God's beauty in nature and the skies always prompts feelings of praise in me. What a magnificent God we serve! :-)

My husband and I frequently see cloud "mountains" on the horizon. They always make Hubby long for Colorado, where he lived for many years.

  12. I like clouds too. While I don't generally care for gray weather like you mentioned, I remember once being in my nephew's backyard and watching a storm roll in. The clouds looked like black waves on an ocean and I have always regretted that I did not have a camera with me.
